Shane Gillis, born on December 11, 1987, in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, began his stand-up comedy career in 2012, performing at local venues in his home state. Gillis made a notable return to SNL as a host in February 2024, humorously addressing his previous firing during his monologue.
