Sick New World is a heavy music festival that debuted in Las Vegas in 2023, celebrating the legacy of nu-metal, industrial, and alternative rock. The inaugural event featured headliners System of a Down, Korn, Deftones, and Incubus, along with acts like Ministry, The Sisters of Mercy, and Skinny Puppy. The festival returned in 2024 with System of a Down co-headlining alongside Slipknot, and expanded its lineup to include artists such as Danny Elfman, Killing Joke, and Nitzer Ebb. The 2025 edition was initially announced with Metallica and Linkin Park as headliners but was canceled due to unforeseen circumstances. In 2026, Sick New World will return with two events: one in Las Vegas on April 25 and another in Fort Worth, Texas, on October 24. Both festivals will feature around 50 acts, including System of a Down, Korn, Deftones, Slayer, Evanescence, Ministry, AFI, Mastodon, KMFDM, Orgy, and Lords of Acid.
