Snarky Puppy is an American instrumental collective founded around 2003–2004 by bassist and composer Michael League while he was studying at the University of North Texas. Over time, the band has grown into a rotating ensemble of musicians known as “The Fam,” pulling in talent from jazz, funk, R&B, gospel, and world music traditions.
