About Stevie Nicks Tickets

Stevie Nicks, known for her ethereal voice, poetic lyrics and mystical stage presence, began her music career in the late 1960s alongside Lindsey Buckingham. The duo met in high school and eventually formed the band Buckingham Nicks, releasing one album in 1973. Though it didn’t achieve commercial success, it caught the attention of Mick Fleetwood, who invited both Nicks and Buckingham to join Fleetwood Mac in 1975. This move would prove pivotal—not only for Nicks’ career but for the future of the band.

Fleetwood Mac's self-titled 1975 album marked the beginning of a new era for the group, but it was the 1977 release of Rumours that cemented their legacy. The album, which chronicled the band members' turbulent relationships—including Nicks and Buckingham’s breakup—became one of the best-selling albums of all time. Nicks contributed standout tracks like “Dreams” (the band’s only number-one U.S. single), “Gold Dust Woman” and “Rhiannon,” a song inspired by a Welsh witch that showcased her fascination with mythology and storytelling.

In 1981, Nicks launched a solo career with her debut album Bella Donna, which featured hits like “Edge of Seventeen” and “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around,” a duet with Tom Petty. The album was a massive success and allowed Nicks to carve out her identity beyond Fleetwood Mac. She continued releasing solo albums throughout the decades, including The Wild Heart, Rock a Little and In Your Dreams, all of which reflect her signature blend of rock, folk, and fantasy.

Over the years, Stevie Nicks has become an icon of rock and roll and one of the most influential women in music. She was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice—first with Fleetwood Mac in 1998, and again as a solo artist in 2019, making her the first woman to achieve that honor. Her legacy endures not just in her chart-topping hits, but in the way she has inspired generations of artists with her authenticity, resilience and spellbinding artistry.

Stevie Nicks is an American singer‑songwriter and a legendary voice in rock music, best known as a vocalist for Fleetwood Mac as well as a successful solo artist. Over her decades‑long career she’s delivered timeless hits like “Dreams,” “Landslide,” “Rhiannon,” and “Edge of Seventeen.” She’s widely respected for her distinctive voice, poetic lyricism, and mystical stage presence, and she’s been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame twice — once with Fleetwood Mac and once as a solo artist.

Stevie Nicks has been working on new solo material, and in 2025 she announced that she’s creating her first new full‑length album in many years, with deeply personal, autobiographical songs inspired by her life experiences. She has mentioned this upcoming project during award appearances.

She also released the single “The Lighthouse” in late 2024, her first new single in several years, showcasing her ongoing creative evolution.

Additionally, a remastered reissue of “Buckingham Nicks,” her 1973 album with Lindsey Buckingham, came out in 2025 — reigniting fan interest in her early work.

Stevie Nicks is one of the most decorated and respected artists in rock history. Her accolades include:

  • Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee (twice)

    • With Fleetwood Mac (1998)

    • As a solo artist (2019) — making her the first woman inducted twice

  • Grammy Award winner (with Fleetwood Mac)

  • Multiple Grammy nominations as a solo artist

  • American Music Awards honoree

  • ASCAP and BMI songwriting honors

  • Billboard Icon Award recognition for her cultural impact

  • Named one of the Greatest Songwriters and Singers of All Time by major music publications

Her influence spans generations, and she’s widely credited with paving the way for women in rock music.
