Justin Bieber has cancelled the remainder of his “Purpose” tour after pulling 14 dates in Asian and North America. It seems the 23-year-old megastar is ready to step out of the spotlight and take time to become the man he wants to be, according to an open letter he posted to Instagram yesterday.
In the lengthy statement Bieber said: “Me taking this time right now is me saying I want to be SUSTAINABLE.. I want my career to be sustainable, but I also want my mind heart and soul to be sustainable.”
So the good news is Bieber wants to stay in the industry forever, but the bad news is his tour is cancelled and he isn’t making any new music in the near future. Don’t worry Justin, we beliebe in you! (One last pun, for old times’ sake.)
(Update 7/17/17)Justin Bieber has just announced that Migos and Vic Mensa will join him on his upcoming Purpose tour. Also joining as support is Kehlani and Martin Garrix for varying dates. The fun starts on July 29 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX. Browse tickets here or check the full schedule below.
(Update 12/5/16)Justin Bieber revealed on the Ellen show that he would be bringing his never-ending Purpose tour to stadiums across North America. While he hasn’t yet revealed the full list of stops, starting on August 5 catch him at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, CA, followed by shows in Denver, Minneapolis, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Toronto. Stay tuned for more details as they unfold!
(Update 10/4/16)Months after Justin Bieber toured his Purpose album throughout the US, he’s finally taking the show down under. The singer has just announced a series of stadium shows in Australia and New Zealand for March 2017, where he’ll be joined by special guest Martin Garrix. It kicks off March 6 in Perth, Australia, and wraps up on March 18 in Aukland, New Zealand. Check below for the full list of stops.
(Update 12/9/15)Bieber has added a United Kingdom leg to his recently-announced world tour. The new dates will take place in October and one date in November, beginning on the 11th with a show at The O2 in London (one of two performances at the venue). Bieber will also perform in Birmingham, Manchester, Sheffield and Glasgow. The final date takes place in Dublin at the 3Arena on November 1. See the full world tour itinerary below.

The infamous Bieb is back in a big way (and no, it’s not another nude pic. Unfortunately). The 21-year-old pop superstar is getting geared up to drop his fourth studio album, Purpose, this Friday, and in support of the new tunes he’s just announced a world tour. The “Purpose” tour will be the singer’s first in three years, after he spent the better part of 2012 and 2013 on the road with Believe.
So far, the tour spans from early March until mid-July, kicking off at the KeyArena in Seattle, WA, on March 9. The first leg of shows will tackle the Western portion of North America, the second leg takes place in the Midwest and South, and the third leg is a smattering of Canadian, Northeast, and more Midwest and Southern stops. Of course, you’ll want to check the full tour itinerary below to see when Bieber will be heading to your hometown. Tickets go on sale next week–stay tuned for more details as they unfold!
