Avatar is embarking on the Don't Go In The Forest Tour 2026.

Avatar's Don't Go In The Forest Tour will run from April 16, 2026 through May 20, 2026.

On their Don't Go In The Forest Tour, Avatar will visit major cities including San Antonio, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Philadelphia, and more.

Avatar is a Swedish heavy metal band formed in Gothenburg in 2001. Known for blending groove metal, melodic death metal, and theatrical performance, the band is fronted by vocalist Johannes Eckerström, whose striking stage presence and darkly playful persona have become central to Avatar’s identity. Over the years, Avatar has earned a reputation for high-concept albums, sharp musicianship, and immersive live shows that blur the line between metal concert and performance art.

Avatar’s most recent studio album is Dance Devil Dance. The album builds on the band’s signature mix of heavy riffs, hook-driven songwriting, and eccentric storytelling, while leaning into a more rock-forward and rhythm-focused sound. It has been praised for its accessibility without sacrificing intensity, further solidifying Avatar’s status as one of modern metal’s most creative and unpredictable acts.
