Fans will have several chances to buy Metallica tickets before the general onsale.
Metallica Fan Club members get the first opportunity beginning Monday, Sept. 21 at 10:00 a.m. local time. Fans will need their Fan Club presale access to participate, and ticket availability is limited.
Citi Cardmembers and eligible Verizon customers can access presales beginning Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 10:00 a.m. local time for participating U.S. shows.
A Spotify presale follows Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 10:00 a.m. local time. Spotify typically sends presale access directly to eligible listeners, so fans should keep an eye on the email associated with their account.
Additional presales begin Thursday, Sept. 24 at 10:00 a.m. local time. Depending on the show, these can include Live Nation, Ticketmaster, venue and local presales, with availability and access requirements varying by market.
The general onsale for Metallica’s newly announced 2027 North American dates begins Friday, Sept. 25 at 10:00 a.m. local time.
Tickets will be released according to the local time zone of each venue, so fans should make sure they are looking at the correct onsale time for the city they plan to attend.
While none of the newly announced “M72 World Tour” stops are primary events at SeatGeek partner venues, fans will still be able to shop for resale tickets on SeatGeek.
Resale tickets can begin appearing on SeatGeek once the first Metallica Fan Club presale opens Monday, Sept. 21 at 10:00 a.m. local time, as sellers begin listing available inventory.
For fans who do not want to compete with a presale queue, resale can be a more flexible option. You can compare multiple sections, rows and price points at once instead of being limited to whatever inventory is available during a specific presale window.
Limp Bizkit and Avatar will open all 12 of Metallica’s newly announced 2027 North American shows.
Limp Bizkit brings decades of arena and festival experience to the bill, while Avatar adds a heavier, more theatrical edge before Metallica takes the stage.
With three bands playing every date, fans should plan for a full night of music and give themselves plenty of time to get inside before the opening sets begin.
Metallica built the “M72 World Tour” for stadiums, and the 2027 North American run keeps that scale intact.
The band performs on an in-the-round stage positioned in the middle of the field, with fans surrounding the action from every direction. The setup gives James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo room to move throughout the show rather than staying planted at one end of the stadium.
The production is every bit as big as the venues, with pyro, massive lighting rigs and a setlist that pulls from across Metallica’s catalog. Fans can expect classics from albums like Master of Puppets and ...And Justice for All alongside newer material from 72 Seasons.
With Limp Bizkit and Avatar opening every date, these shows are built to feel like a full stadium event from the first set through Metallica’s final song.
Metallica’s newly announced 2027 North American run begins Saturday, May 8 at BC Place in Vancouver.
The new North American run wraps Saturday, June 19 at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City.
That gives fans 12 chances across the U.S. and Canada to catch the “M72 World Tour” during its latest stadium run.
If you miss out during presale week or want more flexibility with where you sit, SeatGeek gives you another way to shop the 2027 stadium dates through resale inventory.
