Stevie Wonder is bringing two nights of Songs in the Key of Life to the Fox Theatre. KATSEYE is headed to Little Caesars Arena. And Luke Combs already has a 2027 date at Ford Field.

Detroit fans have plenty to look forward to, whether the next concert is happening this week or next summer.

Below, explore our picks for the best upcoming Detroit concerts, organized by month, along with tips for choosing your show and buying tickets.

Top Detroit concerts for the rest of 2026

The final months of 2026 bring everything from major pop tours to anniversary shows and holiday concerts. Here’s how the schedule breaks down.

October 2026

Gorillaz’s October 7 stop is a particularly strong bill for fans whose playlists move between alternative music and hip-hop, with Little Simz and Deltron 3030 joining the show. Johnny Blue Skies (Sturgill Simpson’s alter ego) & the Dark Clouds follow at Little Caesars Arena on October 10 with no opening act, while Beck brings his Ride Lonesome Tour to the Fox Theatre on October 12.

There are also several ways to spend Halloween weekend. Blue October plays The Fillmore on October 30, followed by separate October 31 shows from Insane Clown Posse, L7 and Assala Nasri.

November gives fans some tough choices. Victoria Monét and Patti LaBelle both perform on November 15, at the Fox Theatre and Music Hall Center, respectively. Two nights later, Andrew Bird joins the Detroit Symphony Orchestra at Orchestra Hall, making that a standout option for anyone interested in hearing an artist in a different setting.

Stevie Wonder’s December 8–9 Fox Theatre run is one of the clearest circle-the-date picks in the entire guide. The shows celebrate the 50th anniversary of Songs in the Key of Life, with the album scheduled to be performed in full. December 8 also brings Jingle Ball to Little Caesars Arena, so Wonder’s second night gives fans hoping to attend both another option.

Best Detroit concerts so far in 2027

The 2027 schedule already includes stadium country shows, major arena tours and plenty of theater and club dates. These are the confirmed picks to start planning around.

January and February 2027

February offers three very different reasons to visit The Fillmore within five days: Daughtry’s 20 Years Unplugged Tour on February 23, Dropkick Murphys on February 26 and Polyphia on February 27. Pay particular attention to Daughtry’s tour format when choosing your show, since this stop is specifically billed as unplugged.

Little Caesars Arena anchors March with Greta Van Fleet, Hans Zimmer and Niall Horan. Greta Van Fleet’s March 2 date includes The Kooks and Luna Li, while Horan’s March 19 show features Cameron Whitcomb.

Zimmer’s March 3 concert deserves a closer look even from fans who rarely buy concert tickets. This is Hans Zimmer himself performing with his band, not a separate ensemble presenting a tribute to his work.

April 2027

Luke Combs’ April 17 Ford Field show is an easy starting point for country fans. Treaty Oak Revival, Avery Anna, Shenandoah and Wyatt McCubbin are also on the bill, so this is a date to plan around the full lineup rather than just the headliner.

April is also one of the strongest announced months for alternative music. Death Cab for Cutie opens the month at the Masonic Temple Theatre, A Perfect Circle and Puscifer share an April 25 Fox Theatre bill, and Fontaines D.C. follows at the Fox on April 27 with Westside Cowboy.

What to know before buying Detroit concert tickets

A little attention to the event listing can make a bigger difference than immediately sorting every ticket from cheapest to most expensive.

Check the exact venue and room. The Masonic Temple Theatre and Masonic Jack White Theatre are different rooms within the same complex. Saint Andrew’s Hall and The Shelter also have separate listings. Match the room on your ticket to the concert you intend to attend, especially when several events share an address or venue calendar.

Look at the concert’s seating map. Decide whether your priority is proximity, a reserved seat or a broader view of the stage. SeatGeek’s interactive maps and available View From Seat images can help you compare locations, although a section image may not show the exact view from your particular seat.

Read the details for multi-night runs. Stevie Wonder, Zeds Dead and GRiZ each have two-night Detroit engagements in this guide. Confirm the performance date before checking out rather than assuming that a listing covers both nights.

Separate an announced show from an open public sale. Some newly announced concerts may still be in their presale period. Check the current event page for sale timing and availability, then review the venue’s age restrictions, bag rules and ticket-delivery instructions before heading out.

How to buy Detroit concert tickets on SeatGeek

Once you know which Detroit concert you want to catch, SeatGeek makes it easy to compare dates, venues and ticket options in one place.

  1. Head to SeatGeek and find your show. Browse Detroit concerts on SeatGeek or search for the artist directly.

  2. Choose the correct date and venue. Some artists may have multiple nearby stops, so make sure you are looking at the right show, whether it is in Detroit, Royal Oak, Clarkston or elsewhere in Metro Detroit.

  3. Select how many tickets you need. This will narrow the available listings to options that work for your group.

  4. Use the interactive map to compare seats. Browse sections and ticket listings across the venue, then use View From Seat images when available to get a better idea of the sightline.

  5. Check Deal Score. SeatGeek’s Deal Score helps compare listings based on factors like price, location and overall value, which can be useful when there are a lot of options.

  6. Review the ticket details. Double-check the section, row, quantity, delivery method and any listing notes before moving forward.

  7. Review the total price. SeatGeek uses All-In Pricing, so mandatory fees are included in the displayed ticket price. Applicable taxes, shipping or optional add-ons may still apply.

  8. Complete checkout. Enter your payment information, confirm the order details and place your order.

  9. Buy with the Buyer Guarantee behind you. Eligible purchases are backed by the SeatGeek Buyer Guarantee, which helps protect fans if there is an issue with their tickets or entry.

With everything from intimate club shows to arena tours and summer nights at Pine Knob, there should be no shortage of reasons to get out and see live music around Detroit.
