The 2025-26 men’s college basketball season has officially tipped off today, with a monster slate featuring over 150 games. The NBA also has nine games slated for Monday, Nov. 3. With so much action on the hardwood to start off the week, let’s highlight the key contests on the day.
Defending national champion Florida gets a tough opening test, as the Gators head to Las Vegas to take on Arizona in the Hall of Fame Series. Florida enters this season as the No. 3 team in the country, and returns a few key contributors from their championship squad like Alex Condon and Thomas Haugh. Meanwhile, No. 13 Arizona features returning seniors Jaden Bradley and Tobe Awaka, as well as true freshman Bryce James, LeBron James’ second-oldest child.
If you buy tickets to the Hall of Fame Series at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, you get entry to both Florida vs. Arizona AND Villanova vs. BYU (9:30 p.m. ET). Tickets are currently available for as low as $78 at SeatGeek.
The Rockets have won three straight games, with all of them coming by a double-digit margin. Offseason acquisition Kevin Durant leads Houston with 27.2 points per game so far this season, while big man Alperen Sengun is adding 22.2 points per game. On the other side, No. 1 overall pick Cooper Flagg is averaging 13.8 points and 6.5 rebounds for the Mavericks in his rookie campaign. Tickets for this in-state rivalry showdown at the Toyota Center are going for as low $54 at SeatGeek.
The nightcap of the Hall of Fame Series will see Kevin Willard making his Villanova coaching debut. Willard is coming off leading Maryland to a Sweet Sixteen appearance last season, and will look to propel Villanova back to a national title contender. BYU also made the Sweet Sixteen last season in Kevin Young’s first season as head coach. Young has even higher hopes this year thanks to landing one of the top freshmen in the country with AJ Dybantsa, and the Cougars enter the season as the No. 8-ranked team.
Tickets, which grant you entry to both games of the Hall of Fame Series at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, are available for as low as $78 at SeatGeek.
The Trail Blazers have been a nice surprise to start this campaign, jumping out to a 4-2 start that includes wins over the Warriors, Nuggets and these same Lakers. But in their first battle, the Lakers were without Luka Doncic, who has scored over 40 points in three of his four games played this season. Doncic has stepped it up with LeBron James sidelined to start the season due to sciatica. Portland’s top scorer has been Deni Avdija at 22.7 points per game, and he put up 25 points last Monday when the Trail Blazers beat the Lakers. You can get tickets to see this rematch at the Moda Center for as low as $24 at SeatGeek.
The Clippers have one of the most unique homecourt advantages in the NBA with “The Wall,” which is 51 uninterrupted rows of seats that are situated behind the basket next to the visitors’ bench. The Clippers have won all three of their home games this season, and will look to make it four straight when the Heat visit the Intuit Dome. This is the third contest of the Heat’s four-game road trip, and Miami is looking to turn it around after dropping its first two against the Spurs and Lakers. Tickets for this matchup are as low as $16 at SeatGeek, with plenty of tickets located within “The Wall” if you’re looking for a fun fan experience.
