Groove it, Football Head! For a generation of Nickelodeon fans, "Hey Arnold!" sounded unlike almost anything else on television. The fictional city of Hillwood ran on warm saxophones, laid-back grooves and Jim Lang’s mix of jazz, hip-hop, funk, blues, R&B and soul.
Now, 30 years after the series premiered, that music is heading out on tour.
The Music of Hey Arnold! Live launches a 20-date U.S. tour this fall, with original series composer Jim Lang leading the PS118 AllStars and Hey Arnold! creator Craig Bartlett appearing as a special guest.
The tour begins October 26 in Pioneertown, California, and continues through cities including New York, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Austin, Seattle and San Francisco. The final announced show is December 2 in Los Angeles.
The Music of Hey Arnold! Live brings the music Jim Lang wrote for the Nickelodeon series out of Hillwood and onto the stage.
Lang and the PS118 AllStars will perform themes, original songs and pieces from the series’ score alongside multimedia visuals, nostalgic moments and stories about how the music came together.
Bartlett will join the tour as a special guest, giving fans a chance to hear from the creator of Arnold’s world while Lang and his band revisit its music live.
The timing is fitting, too. Hey Arnold! premiered on Nickelodeon on October 7, 1996, making the fall 2026 tour part of the show’s 30th anniversary celebration.
The 20-date run stretches from late October through early December, with stops all across the U.S.
