Father John Misty Tickets

Father John Misty is the stage name of American singer-songwriter Joshua Tillman, known for his solo work in folk, indie rock, and orchestral pop. Formerly the drummer for Fleet Foxes, he reinvented himself as Father John Misty in 2012, creating music characterized by witty, introspective lyrics, lush arrangements, and darkly satirical commentary on modern life. He is celebrated for his literary songwriting, theatrical live performances, and ability to blend sincerity with irony in his music.

Father John Misty's 2026 World Tour is an international headlining run celebrating his acclaimed album Mahashmashana, which was released in November 2024. The U.S. leg kicked off on March 23 in Ventura, CA, and included two-night stands at San Francisco's Castro Theatre and Seattle's Paramount Theatre, before wrapping the spring run on May 17 in Pomona, CA. The tour continued through summer and fall 2026, with Father John Misty also appearing at major U.S. festivals as part of the cycle.

Father John Misty's 2026 World Tour is anchored by Mahashmashana, his critically praised album released in November 2024. Live sets on the tour draw heavily from that record while also featuring fan favorites from across his catalog, including songs like "Real Love Baby," "Chateau Lobby #4 (in C for Two Virgins)," "Nancy From Now On," and "Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings." Tillman has also been road-testing new 2026 singles like "The Payoff" and "The X-panded Universe" throughout the tour cycle.

Father John Misty's 2026 World Tour features support from Andy Shauf and David Vandervelde on select U.S. dates. Damien Jurado is scheduled to support the December 2026 solo acoustic run. Additional special guests for various dates have also been announced, so it's worth checking individual show listings for the most up-to-date support act information.

Father John Misty has released three standalone singles in 2026 ahead of his December solo acoustic tour: "The Old Law" in January, "The Payoff" in May, and "The X-panded Universe" in September. The announcement of the rare solo tour coincided with the release of "The X-panded Universe," marking his first solo headlining run in more than a decade. He has also been previewing additional unreleased material at live appearances throughout the year.
