Who is King Princess?

King Princess is the stage name of Mikaela Mullaney Straus, a Brooklyn-born singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist. Raised in her father’s Mission Sound studio, she mastered instruments and production early on. After declining a label deal at 11 to maintain creative control, she later dropped out of USC’s Thornton School of Music and signed in 2018 as the inaugural artist on Mark Ronson’s Zelig Records.
