Weekend one of Coachella 2022 surprised and delivered. On Friday night, Harry Styles and Shania Twain belted “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!” On Saturday, Khalid, Damon Albarn, and Posdnuos joined Billie Eilish on stage. And for Sunday, the seamless transition from Swedish House Mafia‘s one-hour set to The Weeknd‘s Dawn FM and After Hours-filled performance closed out the weekend.

Coachella is half about the music and half about the outfits — it’s a runway in the desert. But keep in mind: it is a desert. It’s important to wear breathable, functional clothing you can wear all day long. While it may look good to pile on the accessories and layers, make sure the outfit doesn’t weigh you down. As with any festival, there will be a lot of walking, so wear clothes you can move around in. And as always, make sure you’re drinking water throughout the day to prevent overheating and dehydration.
The Indio Central Market offers food from dozens of restaurants under one tent. With plenty of seating and shade, you can grab a bite while taking a break from the desert sun. There are plenty of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options available for those with specific dietary restrictions or needs.
Several vendors will be selling bottled water in both venue and camping areas. There will also be free, twice-filtered water refill stations located around the venue and campgrounds. Each refill station can accommodate multiple guests at a time. You can bring an empty, refillable, non-metal/aluminum/steel/glass water bottle or hydration pack.

Coachella does not have a COVID-19 policy. According to the official festival website, “there will be no vaccination, testing or masking requirement for Coachella 2022.” However, this policy may change anytime between now and the end of weekend two depending on local guidelines.
