About The Hives Tickets
Formed in 1993 in Fagersta, Sweden, The Hives emerged from a small industrial town to become one of the most electrifying bands in the garage rock revival movement. The band consists of Howlin' Pelle Almqvist (vocals), Nicholaus Arson (lead guitar), Vigilante Carlstroem (rhythm guitar), Chris Dangerous (drums), and The Johan and Only (bass). Their early work, including the 1997 debut album Barely Legal, established their raw, high-energy sound, while the 2000 follow-up, Veni Vidi Vicious, propelled them to international fame with the breakout single "Hate to Say I Told You So."
The Hives' reputation as a formidable live act was solidified with the release of Tyrannosaurus Hives in 2004, which featured hits like "Walk Idiot Walk" and "Two-Timing Touch and Broken Bones." Their dynamic performances earned them accolades such as "Best Live Band" from Spin magazine in 2006. In 2007, they released The Black and White Album, followed by Lex Hives in 2012. After a brief hiatus, they returned in 2023 with The Death of Randy Fitzsimmons, a concept album that continued their tradition of high-octane rock.
In August 2025, The Hives released The Hives Forever Forever The Hives, co-produced by Mike D of the Beastie Boys and featuring contributions from Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age. The album's lead single, "Enough Is Enough," accompanied by a music video directed by Eik Kockum, showcases the band's continued evolution. To support the album, The Hives embarked on a global tour, starting in Australia on July 17 and concluding on December 6 in Stockholm, with stops in Japan, North America, Europe, and the United Kingdom.
