The Puerto Rican group Wisin & Yandel have developed their sound into a unique blend of reggaeton, electronic music and hip-hop. The duo formed in the 1990s and began releasing albums in the early 2000s. Their first three albums De Nuevos a Viejos (2001), Mi Vida… Mi Life (2003) and De Otra Manera (2004) are all certified gold albums and led to the group winning Best Rap/Reggaeton Duo in 2002. In 2005, Wisin & Yandel started their own label under the name WY Records and released their album Pa’l Mundo which became an international success and reached No. 1 on Billboards Top Latin Albums. After a five-year hiatus, Wisin & Yandel announced their reunion and performed their first concert in the US during the 2018 Puerto Rican Day Parade in New York City. Wisin & Yandel have since collaborated with big-time artists such as Bad Bunny and Ozuna. Wisin & Yandel are nothing short of a dynamic duo who have impressed the world with their enduring music production.
