Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino: SeatGeek’s complete guide to live events in Las Vegas

Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino is one of Las Vegas’ premier indoor entertainment venues. Located on the famous Las Vegas Strip inside Mandalay Bay, the arena hosts major concerts, championship fights, professional sports, and special events throughout the year. With its modern design and intimate capacity compared to larger Vegas stadiums, it offers an up-close live experience in the heart of one of the world’s entertainment capitals. Here’s everything you need to know before purchasing tickets on SeatGeek.

A top-tier venue on the Las Vegas Strip

Originally opened in 1999 and renovated in recent years, Michelob ULTRA Arena has built a reputation for hosting high-profile events in a more personal setting than mega-capacity stadiums. Its location within Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino makes it easily accessible for visitors staying on the Strip, and it’s surrounded by dining, nightlife, and hotel amenities that turn any event into a full Vegas experience.

Home of championship fights and professional basketball

The arena has long been associated with major boxing and mixed martial arts events, frequently hosting championship bouts and nationally televised fight nights. It is also the home court of the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces, whose mascot Buckets energizes the crowd during home games. From intense playoff matchups to headline fight cards, the venue consistently delivers high-stakes action.

Concerts and headline entertainment

Michelob ULTRA Arena regularly welcomes top touring artists across pop, rock, country, Latin, hip-hop, and electronic genres. Its acoustics and lighting systems are designed to enhance live performances, and depending on the show, fans may find floor seating near the stage or a traditional bowl configuration. Comedy tours, special sporting events, and unique Las Vegas productions also appear on the calendar throughout the year.

Seating layout and capacity overview

The arena seats approximately 12,000 guests, though capacity varies by event setup. Seating typically includes floor sections for concerts or fight nights, lower bowl seating close to the action, and upper-level sections offering full-arena views. Premium seating options and suites may be available for select events, providing added comfort and exclusive amenities. SeatGeek’s interactive seating chart allows fans to compare sections and pricing before selecting tickets.

Getting there and arrival tips

Located within Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, the arena is accessible via the Las Vegas Strip and connected pedestrian walkways. Parking is available on-site at the resort, and rideshare services are widely used by eventgoers. Because Las Vegas traffic can increase significantly before major events, arriving early is recommended, especially for sold-out concerts or championship fights.
