Romeo Santos is an American singer, songwriter, and one of the most influential figures in modern bachata music. First rising to fame as the lead singer of the group Aventura, he helped popularize bachata — a genre originally from the Dominican Republic — around the world with hits blending traditional rhythms and contemporary R&B and pop influences. After Aventura’s success, Santos launched a hugely successful solo career, earning multiple chart‑topping albums, awards, and sold‑out stadium shows.

In 2025, Romeo Santos released a collaborative studio album with fellow bachata star Prince Royce titled Better Late Than Never. This 13‑track project — released on November 28, 2025 — served as a surprise drop that brought together two of the genre’s biggest names on one record. The album blends classic bachata with modern influences and celebrates their shared musical roots and styles.
