BEST TICKET APP OUT THERE
Love seat geek! I use it for any event concerts, baseball games, college football/basketball, etc and it never gives me any problems. It is very convenient as well and allows almost all tickets to be loaded to apple wallet! It’s great!Dec 30

About Cirque du Soleil: Volta Tickets

Audiences follow Waz, a timid contestant on a fantastical game show who struggles to find himself and reclaim his sense of worthiness. Volta is one of Cirque du Soleil’s most recent productions. It premiered in Montreal in April of 2017 before touring around Canada and the United States. The show tours in Cirque du Soleil’s famous Big Top, taking its elaborate sets and talented performers to city after city in a semi-permanent home. Volta was inspired by themes of human disconnection and the loss of confidence that can happen in the monotonous routines of daily life. The word “volta” is used in poetry to refer to a rhetorical shift or dramatic change in perspective. The show incorporates timely subject matter with mesmerizing circus elements and thrilling live music beloved by fans. Volta’s dedication to keeping every performance fresh and unique makes it a show worth seeing more than once. There are several acts in rotation and several more that have been replaced or given a new twist. During a performance of Volta, audiences encounter a dazzling mix of urban street sports, powerful acrobats, and a poignantly relatable young man’s journey of self-discovery. The inspiring character, Waz, evokes the struggle of achieving freedom and acceptance outside of society’s norms. Volta features a wide range of acts, including BMX riders, hair suspension, and mind-bending trampoline walls. Volta’s talented performers, acrobats, and dancers often move in impossibly harmonious unison, like the dejected group of Greys who traverse the city on roller skates and yearn to find freedom. The impressive stage and set pieces that artists use throughout the show is made up of dynamic elements. From a stone quarry in the beginning to a fully functioning skate park in the finale, the set is united by a structure known as The Cube. Used to represent Waz’s refuge of memories, The Cube moves about the stage displaying nostalgic items from his childhood and video projections that transform with the live music. Volta is currently touring the United States in Cirque du Soleil’s impressive Big Top. The show typically spends several weeks to a month in each city. Performances usually run Tuesdays through Sundays with multiple performances on the weekends. However, performances are subject to change, so make sure to check the show schedule before making plans.
