I tested positive for Covid one day before I was scheduled to see a show I had been looking forward to for a long time. It’s my go to
There is a reason why so many YouTubers promote this app. It’s so quality and truly does find the best deals and seating every where. Also, it simply finds events that are poorly advertised else where. If it not been for seat geek I would not of known AEW was in my area soon. His debut album, Ledbetter Heights (1995), was released when he was only 18 years old and became a major success, topping the Billboard Blues Chart and eventually going Platinum. Just two years later, he released Trouble Is… (1997), which featured the hit single “Blue on Black.” That song crossed over to rock radio and became a career-defining track, helping establish Shepherd as one of the leading figures of modern blues rock. His fiery guitar style and ability to bring blues to a wider audience earned him both commercial success and critical acclaim.
Over the years, Shepherd has continued to grow artistically and expand his influence in the blues world. His 2007 project 10 Days Out: Blues from the Backroads showcased collaborations with legendary blues artists and earned Grammy nominations, highlighting his respect for the genre’s roots. Subsequent albums, including Lay It On Down (2017), displayed his versatility by blending blues rock with elements of soul and R&B. In 2023, he released Dirt on My Diamonds, Vol. 1, an album that reflects both his maturity as a songwriter and his ability to evolve while staying true to the blues tradition.
