Best Ticket App

The Major League Soccer (MLS) All-Star Game is the annual all-star game for the premier club soccer league in the USA. The event was first played in 1996 at Giants Stadium, with the contest marking the mid-point of the MLS season. This timing of the contest brings the MLS all-star game in line with those of the other major sports in America as a midseason break, with only the Pro Bowl in the NFL following a different placement schedule.
The event has a format that is unique amongst all-star games. The first two years of the all-star game saw a traditional style where the MLS East and MLS West conferences faced off. This changed for the first time in 1998, when a team of MLS USA players faced the MLS World, a group of players that played in the league but that were from other countries.
