Tropicana Field has been the Rays' home ballpark since it opened in 1990. It features some of baseball’s most unique amenities, such as a massive aquarium known as Rays Touch Tank located over the right-center field fence. Another notable feature is the stadium’s catwalk system, suspended from the roof above the right field. These catwalks add an element of unpredictability to the game, as balls hit can make contract with the structure and creating exciting and unconventional play scenarios.

Regarding the bag policy at Tropicana Field, guests should ensure their backpacks or coolers are 16”x8” or smaller. The only exceptions are medical bags or diaper bags for children. Another important thing to note is that Tropicana Field is a cashless ballpark.
