Ben Folds Tickets

This run is Ben Folds Five's first tour since the band went on hiatus in 2013, making it the first time Ben Folds, Robert Sledge and Darren Jessee have toured together in 15 years. Unlike Ben Folds's recent solo dates, including his ongoing shows performing with symphony orchestras, this reunion tour brings the full original trio back together on stage. It also follows closely on the heels of a major anniversary reissue of the band's catalog, giving the shows extra significance for longtime fans.

The Ben Folds Five reunion tour follows an expanded 30th anniversary reissue of the band's self-titled 1995 debut album, which came out in September 2026. That reissue is widely seen as the catalyst for bringing Ben Folds, Robert Sledge and Darren Jessee back together on the road in 2027. Fans attending the tour can expect the anniversary release to shape much of the live show's focus.

The 2027 reunion tour reunites the original Ben Folds Five lineup of pianist Ben Folds, bassist Robert Sledge and drummer Darren Jessee. This is the same trio that formed the band in North Carolina in 1993, and it's their first time performing together on tour since 2013. Seeing all three original members on the same stage is a big part of what's generating buzz around this run.

Ben Folds Five disbanded in 2013, and the trio of Ben Folds, Robert Sledge and Darren Jessee had not toured together again until this 2027 reunion run was announced. That gap is why the tour is being described as the band's first tour in 15 years, making this a milestone moment for fans who have been waiting to see the original lineup back on stage. The reunion arrives alongside a major anniversary reissue of their debut album, adding extra weight to the occasion.
