Thundercat is taking the wonderfully scattered world of his new album "Distracted" on the road. The bassist and singer has announced a 32-date North American fall tour that begins October 2 and travels through the U.S. and Canada before closing with a festival appearance in Austin on December 11.
The "Distracted AF" Tour follows the April release of "Distracted" on Brainfeeder, Thundercat’s first full-length album since 2020’s "It Is What It Is." The record features collaborations with Tame Impala, Lil Yachty, A$AP Rocky, Channel Tres and Willow, plus a posthumous appearance from longtime collaborator Mac Miller.

*Thundercat is also scheduled to perform as part of Holiday Hootenanny on December 11. Thundercat is among the festival’s headliners, with additional artists appearing throughout the event.
The Thundercat artist presale begins Thursday, July 16 at 10:00 a.m. local venue time. Fans can sign up for presale access through Thundercat’s official tour page. A Live Nation presale follows Thursday, July 16 at 12:00 p.m. local venue time.
The general public onsale is scheduled for Friday, July 17 at 10 a.m. local venue time. Thundercat’s official website directs fans to individual ticket links for the newly announced shows.
Five supporting artists will rotate across the tour, giving different stretches of the run their own sound and energy.
Kitty Ca$h, a Brooklyn DJ, producer and multidisciplinary curator known for connecting dance music with hip-hop and R&B, will open in Miami Beach, Orlando, Jacksonville and Tampa.
TiaCorine, the Winston-Salem rapper behind songs like "FreakyT" and "Lotto," brings her fast-moving, anime-influenced take on Southern rap to the dates from Charleston through Minneapolis, including Brooklyn, Montreal and Ottawa.
Channel Tres, a Compton singer, rapper, producer and DJ who blends house music with West Coast funk and hip-hop, will perform DJ sets before Thundercat in St. Louis, Louisville, Nashville, Birmingham and New Orleans.
54 Ultra, the project of New Jersey native Johnny Rodriguez, mixes garage pop and soul with indie-rock and Latin influences and will open in Houston, Dallas and Fayetteville.
Fera, an emerging artist whose recent releases include "fire" and "my wake and your christening," will appear in Salt Lake City, Oakland, Portland, Seattle and Los Angeles.
The North American run begins Friday, October 2, 2026 at the Miami Beach Bandshell in Miami Beach, Florida. Kitty Ca$h is scheduled to support the first four dates of the tour.
Thundercat's final headlining date on the "Distracted AF" Tour is Saturday, December 5, 2026 at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. He will then close the announced tour schedule with a performance at Holiday Hootenanny in Austin on Friday, December 11.
Thundercat concerts move freely between tightly arranged songs, extended instrumental passages and spontaneous interactions with the audience. His music draws from jazz fusion, funk, R&B, electronic music and psychedelic pop, but the live show is driven by the speed and range of his six-string bass playing.
The tour is built around "Distracted," so the new record should have a larger presence than it did during Thundercat’s earlier 2026 appearances. Potential additions include "I Did This to Myself," "Funny Friends," "This Thing We Call Love," "ThunderWave" and "She Knows Too Much."
Collaborators featured on the album have not been announced as tour guests. Fans should not assume Tame Impala, Lil Yachty, A$AP Rocky, Willow or any other featured artist will appear unless a specific show announces them.
Although an official fall tour setlist has not been released, staples such as "Them Changes," "Dragonball Durag," "Funny Thing," "Friend Zone" and "No More Lies" remain some of the most recognizable parts of Thundercat’s catalog. The precise order and arrangements can change because his performances regularly leave space for solos and improvisation.
This tour moves between traditional theaters, standing-room clubs and outdoor spaces. The sightlines, seating format and production scale at Kings Theatre will not match the experience on the lawn at White Oak Music Hall or inside the Crystal Ballroom.
Check whether your ticket is reserved seating or general admission before show day. General-admission fans who want a closer position will generally need to arrive earlier than fans with assigned seats.
SeatGeek lets you compare available primary and resale inventory in one place, which can be particularly useful if your preferred show sells quickly or you want to compare several sections before buying. Follow these steps to find tickets:
Search for Thundercat: Enter “Thundercat” in the SeatGeek search bar to see available concerts and festival appearances.
Choose your date: Select the city and venue you want, making sure you are viewing the 2026 "Distracted AF" Tour stop rather than another festival or supporting appearance.
Compare ticket options: Use the venue map and filters to narrow listings by price, quantity, section and ticket type.
Review the complete price: SeatGeek uses all-in pricing, so mandatory fees are included in the displayed ticket price.
Check the listing details: Review the row, section, general-admission designation, seller notes and delivery information before checking out.
Complete your purchase: All SeatGeek orders are protected under the Buyer Guarantee, which covers qualifying issues involving ticket delivery, validity and order accuracy.
Whether you are going for "Them Changes," the new songs from "Distracted" or the chance to watch Thundercat turn a bass solo into a full-band detour, this tour is designed to stay loose, technical and unpredictable. Browse Thundercat tickets on SeatGeek and compare available dates, prices and sections before your preferred stop fills up.
