Sting is returning to Las Vegas, and this time he is stripping things back.

The 17-time Grammy Award winner has announced an 11-show “Sting 3.0” residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, bringing his acclaimed three-piece concert format to the Las Vegas Strip in March and October 2027.

Rather than recreate the larger production of his previous “My Songs” residency, “Sting 3.0” puts the spotlight on the music. Sting will be joined by longtime guitarist Dominic Miller and drummer Chris Maas as the trio revisits decades of hits from his solo career and years fronting The Police.

The residency marks Sting’s return to The Colosseum after 22 sold-out “My Songs” performances between 2021 and 2023. With just 11 dates announced across two engagements, fans have a limited opportunity to see this version of the show in Las Vegas.

Here is everything to know about Sting’s 2027 residency, including the full schedule, presale details, ticket information and what fans can expect from the performance.

Who is performing with Sting?

Sting 3.0 features three musicians, with each playing a central role in the show’s stripped-back arrangements.

Sting

Sting handles lead vocals and bass guitar, anchoring the performance with his distinctive voice, melodic bass lines and extensive catalog.

Dominic Miller

Dominic Miller is Sting’s longtime guitarist and collaborator. He has contributed to numerous solo recordings and live performances, including the signature guitar work associated with “Shape of My Heart.”

Chris Maas

Chris Maas is the group’s drummer. Known for his work with Mumford & Sons and Maggie Rogers, he brings a powerful rhythmic foundation to the trio.

Unlike a larger touring ensemble with multiple instrumentalists and backing singers, Sting 3.0 emphasizes the interplay between bass, guitar and drums. The result is a fresh interpretation of familiar songs that highlights the musicianship behind them.

What is Sting’s 3.0 setlist?

The official setlist for Sting’s 2027 Las Vegas residency has not been confirmed. Recent Sting 3.0 performances offer a useful preview, though the running order may change once the residency begins.

The show has featured a combination of Police classics, solo hits and deeper cuts, often with updated arrangements designed for the three-piece band.

The following setlist was reported from Sting’s Oct. 8, 2026 performance at Benaroya Hall in Seattle. It is a previously performed setlist, not a confirmed running order for the Las Vegas residency.

How long is a Sting 3.0 concert?

Actual runtimes for the 2027 residency have not been confirmed. Individual performances may vary depending on the setlist, audience interaction and the encore.

What to expect from Sting 3.0 in Las Vegas

Sting 3.0 is designed to offer a different experience from Sting’s previous Las Vegas engagement.

Rather than building the show around a large ensemble, the three-piece format allows familiar songs to take on new textures and arrangements. For fans who know every note of the original Police recordings, hearing those songs reworked with just bass, guitar and drums is part of the appeal.

The show blends the reggae-influenced rhythms of “Roxanne” and “Message in a Bottle” with the melodic intimacy of solo favorites such as “Fields of Gold” and “Shape of My Heart.” The repertoire also leaves room for songs that do not always receive the same attention as Sting’s biggest hits.

The 2027 residency follows an extensive international run of Sting 3.0 performances and the release of Sting 3.0 Live, which documents the trio’s approach to his music.

Production details specific to The Colosseum, including staging, video effects and lighting design, have not yet been announced.

Where are the best seats for Sting at The Colosseum?

The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is an intimate theater-style venue with approximately 4,300 seats. Its farthest seat is about 145 feet from the stage, giving fans a closer view than they might get at one of Sting’s arena shows.

The best seating choice depends on whether you prioritize proximity, a balanced view of the stage or ticket value.

  • Front orchestra seats are a strong option for fans who want a close look at Sting’s bass playing, Miller’s guitar work and the interaction between the three musicians.

  • Center orchestra seating can balance stage proximity with a broader view of the trio. For many fans, this is the best combination of atmosphere and perspective.

  • Front mezzanine seats provide an elevated view that can make it easier to see the full stage setup and the musicians’ interplay.

  • Rear mezzanine seats may offer a more budget-friendly way to experience the residency while still taking advantage of the theater’s relatively intimate scale.

Use SeatGeek’s Colosseum seating chart and any available seat-view previews to compare sections before purchasing. Because the exact stage setup for 2027 has not been confirmed, review any sightline disclosures on individual listings.
