Content Policy & License

Welcome to SeatGeek. We built SeatGeek to celebrate the passion and excitement of live events, and empower fans to share those experiences with each other. To help you understand how we use your content, as well as ensure our community remains a positive, safe, and respectful space, we have established this Content Policy & License ("Policy").

Acceptable Use

This Policy sets the rules for what content is acceptable when you share photos, videos, and other content with or on SeatGeek ("Content"). Its purpose is to protect our community of fans, the artists, venues, and teams on our platform, and SeatGeek itself from harmful, infringing, or disruptive material. By uploading, sharing, or otherwise posting any Content on SeatGeek, you agree to abide by the rules outlined in this Policy as well as our Terms of Use.

To maintain a safe and respectful environment for all users, SeatGeek prohibits Content that falls into any of the following categories.

• Violence and Graphic Content. We do not permit Content that depicts or encourages violence, gore, self harm, or bodily harm.
• Sexual Content and Nudity. Do not upload sexually explicit Content.
• Harassment and Bullying. We have a zero-tolerance policy for Content that targets, demeans, mocks, or bullies others.
• Hate Speech and Discrimination. Content that promotes discrimination or bigotry, or disparages or incites hatred against individuals or groups based on their protected characteristics is strictly forbidden.
• Illegal Activities and Regulated Goods. Do not upload Content that depicts, promotes, or facilitates illegal activities or the sale of regulated goods.
• Spam and Misleading Content. We prohibit Content that is designed to mislead or deceive our users. All Content should be authentic and relevant to your personal event experience.
• Infringing Content. You may only upload Content that you created or that you have explicit permission to use. Respect the intellectual property of others, including artists, photographers, and other creators.
• Privacy Violations. Respect the privacy of others. Do not post Content that reveals private or sensitive information about other individuals without their consent.
• Disruptive Content. Your Content should celebrate the event, not detract from it or demonstrate or encourage behavior that violates event or venue rules.

We reserve the right to determine, in our sole discretion, whether your Content violates this Policy, and to screen, remove, edit, or reinstate Content at our sole discretion for any reason or no reason, all without notice to you.

Content License

As between you and SeatGeek, you own your Content. You are responsible for the Content you provide, and understand that it may be impossible to remove the Content once provided. You represent that you own or have the necessary permissions to use and authorize the use of your Content as described in the following license. By submitting, uploading, or otherwise making available any Content with or through SeatGeek's platform (including Content shared though our services, websites, or mobile applications), you hereby irrevocably grant SeatGeek and its affiliates, partners, licensees, successors, and assigns a non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use your Content for any purpose, including to the right to copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly perform and display, modify, translate, and prepare derivative works of your Content. You also irrevocably waive any claims and assertions of moral rights or attribution against SeatGeek with respect to such Content.
