The "How We Use Your Information" section of the SeatGeek Privacy Notice describes the business and commercial purposes for collecting your information. The "How We Share Your Information" section of the SeatGeek Privacy Notice describes how we share your information.
We collect the following categories of sensitive personal data (as defined under California law): precise geolocation and disability status. We collect this data to process transactions, comply with laws, manage our business, or provide services. Note that we do not use such data for any purposes that are not identified within Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.121. We do not "sell" or "share" sensitive personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may transfer it to third parties when you instruct us to do so. When that occurs, third parties will use it for the purposes indicated in their privacy notices.
We receive personal information from a variety of sources, including you, your use of our Services, your verbal or written correspondence with us, your use of our partners' services or websites, social media, public databases, and our affiliates, advertisers, data brokers, Event Partners, and other third parties.
The "Your Choices" section of the SeatGeek Privacy Notice describes the rights you may have in relation to your personal information.
You may exercise your rights using our privacy form at Your Privacy Choices , on our mobile application by signing into your Account and going to your "My Account" page, or by contacting us using the contact details provided below. Further information may be needed to verify your identity before exercising these rights.
You may designate, in writing or through a power of attorney document, an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf to exercise your rights. Before accepting such a request from an agent, we will require that the agent provide proof you have authorized them to act on your behalf, and we may need you to verify your identity directly with us.
If you wish to submit a request to know, delete, or opt out through an authorized agent, we require the following before we can process the request:
If your authorized agent has a valid power of attorney, we may request proof of the power of attorney instead of the foregoing.
We may deny a request from an agent that does not submit proof you authorized them to act on your behalf.
We use various technologies, including cookies and web beacons, to collect information concerning your online activities, such as the device and browser information, the pages you visit and the content you view. We may also use third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to obtain such information. For more details, please see our Cookie Policy.
Where these online tracking technologies are deemed to be a "sale" or "share" (which includes targeted advertising, as defined under the applicable laws) under one or more State Privacy Laws, you can opt-out of these online tracking technologies by submitting a request through the "Your Privacy Choices" link available here, at the bottom of the SeatGeek website, and in your settings on the SeatGeek mobile app, or via the "Contact Us" section of our Privacy Notice. While we will always honor your choices based on applicable privacy laws, this may result in certain features in our websites or apps no longer being available.
We recognize Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals broadcast from web browsers as a valid opt-out request where required by applicable law. Please note that the GPC will apply only to your current browser. We do not recognize the "Do Not Track Signal." If there is a conflict between the GPC signal and a manual choice that you have made on our website regarding targeted advertising, we will honor your manual choice.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights under applicable State Privacy Law.
If you are a California resident and have an established business relationship with us, you can request a list of personal information we have shared with third parties for their direct marketing purposes once a year and free of charge. To make such a request, please write to us at privacy@seatgeek.com or SeatGeek Inc., 902 Broadway, 10th Floor, New York, NY 10010. Please mention in your request that you are making a "California Shine the Light" inquiry.
We reserve the right to amend this privacy notice at our discretion and at any time. When we make changes to this privacy notice, we will post the updated notice on the website and update the notice's effective date.
