The 2026 MTV Video Music Awards nominations also make for an impressive concert calendar.

The 2026 VMAs will air live from Los Angeles on Sunday, September 27, at 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT on CBS and MTV. Paramount+ Premium subscribers can also stream the show live through their local CBS feed, while Paramount+ Essential subscribers will have access on demand the following day.

Madonna leads this year’s nominees with 11 nominations, followed by Taylor Swift with nine. Ariana Grande and Sabrina Carpenter earned seven nominations each, while Bruno Mars, PinkPantheress and Zara Larsson received five apiece. LISA has four nominations, while Shakira and Tate McRae have three each.

BTS, Harry Styles, KATSEYE, Olivia Rodrigo, Charli xcx, KAROL G and several Best New Artist contenders are also in the running. Not every nominated artist is touring right now, but plenty are already on the road or have major tours and residencies scheduled through 2026 and 2027.

The North American leg has included stadium performances across some of the continent’s biggest markets before concluding in Los Angeles in September.

Harry Styles is taking over Madison Square Garden

Harry Styles earned nominations for Best Dance with “Aperture” and Best Choreography for “Dance No More.”

His Together, Together Tour includes a 30-show Madison Square Garden residency from August 26 through October 31. MSG is Styles’ only U.S. stop this year, making the residency the best opportunity for American fans to see him live in 2026.

The production uses an in-the-round setup rather than a traditional end-stage configuration. The center-stage design creates views from all sides of the arena, making this a very different MSG experience from a standard concert setup.

Luke Combs already has a major 2027 stadium tour scheduled

Not every touring nominee is a fall 2026 option.

Luke Combs is nominated for Best Country with “Back in the Saddle.” His My Kinda Saturday Night Tour is scheduled for 2027, beginning April 3 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and ending June 26 at Petco Park in San Diego.

The stadium run also includes major markets such as Minneapolis, Detroit, Philadelphia, Foxborough, Pittsburgh, Kansas City, Edmonton, Vancouver, Boise and Denver.

LISA becomes the first K-pop artist to headline a Las Vegas residency

LISA has four VMA nominations for “Dream feat. Kentaro Sakaguchi”: Best Pop, Best K-Pop, Best Cinematography and Best Editing.

She will bring VIVA LA LISA to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas for four performances on November 13, 14, 27 and 28.
