The band was created by drummer/vocalist Julien Ehrlich and guitarist Max Kakacek, both former members of the band Smith Westerns. Some of Whitney’s most well-known tracks include “No Woman,” “Golden Days,” “Giving Up” and “Valleys (My Love).” These songs showcase their signature blend of warm melodies, heartfelt lyrics and lush instrumentation.

Whitney has released several albums, including:

• Light Upon the Lake (2016)

• Spark (2022)

Each album has expanded their sound while keeping their emotional core intact.
