They appeared at the Sonic Temple Art and Music Festival in Columbus, OH in May 2026, and are set to perform at the McHenry Music Festival in McHenry, IL in September 2026 alongside Shinedown, Sevendust, and Nonpoint. Daughtry is an American rock band fronted by vocalist and guitarist Chris Daughtry, who formed the group in 2006 following his fourth-place finish on the fifth season of American Idol. Their self-titled debut album dropped in November 2006, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, and became the fastest-selling rock debut in Nielsen SoundScan history, moving over one million copies within five weeks. The album earned four Grammy nominations, four American Music Awards, and seven Billboard Music Awards including Album of the Year, launching Daughtry as one of the defining post-grunge rock acts of the 21st century.

Daughtry built their following on a string of arena rock anthems, with It's Not Over and Home from their debut both reaching the top five on the Billboard Hot 100. Subsequent albums delivered additional hits including Life After You, What About Now, No Surprise, and Waiting for Superman, all of which became staples of rock radio. More recently, singles like World On Fire, Heavy Is The Crown, and Changes Are Coming each reached the Top 10 on Billboard's Rock Airplay chart, showing the band's continued pull on the charts nearly two decades into their career.
